PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION IN DETAIL :
Application for Admission into the college should be made in the prescribed form (attached with Information Brochure) issued by the college office on payment of Rs. 200/-. Forms will be issued immediately after the declaration of Higher Secondary final result.
Admission will be made on the basis of merit and availability of seats. The decision of the Principal regarding admission will be final and binding.Candidates must submit attested copies of the following documents along with the filled in Admission Form :
i] Marksheet of the examination passed
ii] Pass Certificate
iii] Caste Certificate (wherever necessary)
iv] Migration Certificate (if necessary)
v] Gap-Certificate (only for students passing the qualifying examination earlier than the current year)
vi] Passport size photograps (2 copies)
Candidates named in the selection list are required to produce the original copies of the above documents at the time of interview / admission.
After receiving the filled-in forms, the selection committee will prepare a merit list on the basis of the marks obtained in the Higher Secondary examination. Accordingly admission will be continued. If any merit-listed candidate doesnot take admission within the stipulated period, the wait-listed candidate will be allowed to take admission on the basis of the order in the waiting list.
SELECTION PROCEDURE :
Candidates will be selected for admission on merit basis. There will be reservation of a few seats on the basis of excellent performance in HS or equivalent examination, talent in sports, cultural activities, NCC ; and some other cases as the Principal and the Governing Body of the college may deem fit. Moreover there will be reservation for certain categories like ST, SC, OBC / MOBC as per the Indian constitutional provisions for such reservation.
SELECTION FOR MAJOR SUBJECTS :-
Candidates opting for Major subjects will be provisionally admitted in Major. There will be Screening Test and candidates passing the test only will be finally admitted in the Major subject opted by them.

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION
Students of each Semester will be evaluated as per the following scheme.
- In – Semester (Internal Assessment) – 20 marks
- End – Semester Examination – 80 marks
The In-Semester division of marks will be in the pattern given below :–
1st & 2nd Sessional Tests – 10 marks (5 x 2)
Attendance – 5 marks
Seminar / Group Discussion – 5 marks
Total = 20 marks
